Creation of returns

If a parcel has been delivered to a customer by mistake or the customer no longer wants the parcel, you can create return stamps or a so-called return slip with UPS and DPD, which is automatically addressed to your winery. You have to send the PDF by e-mail to the respective customer so that he or she can return the goods at your expense.

To do this, open the normal window for creating a parcel label and select "Returns" from the drop-down menu in the second line under "Service:". Then you can create the stamp as usual.

Note that the address field in the parcel stamp mask does not change when you create a return. This is not an error, but is important so that our programme can correctly assign the return to the customer. The desired change of address for your return will then be displayed on the created parcel label. Please also note that the "Description" field must be filled in for a UPS return label.

Trick: Simple return via DHL

Create a normal stamp to yourself, send the stamp to your customer by mail and ask him to simply give the package to the postman of DHL. This usually works perfectly.

Please note that created return parcel labels can only be cancelled on the same day until 17:00.

Non-EU countries

All details (e.g. value of goods, contents, etc.) must be identical to the customs data from the original commercial invoice (for the outward shipment).

The creation of return labels for shipments to EU countries is identical to shipments within Germany. In individual cases there have been problems, but this should not be the rule.
